Preparation Before Beginning the Wellness Plan
Your body needs time to prepare for detoxification and nourishment. The 3 step pre-start process of the first seven days are crucial in setting the stage for your journey. (Optional) Add the Triphala Capsules to Day 1 - 3 for a maximum cleanse. Swallow the capsules whole on an empty stomach first thing in the morning. The Triphala Capsules comes free with the wellness plan.
Getting a minimum of 8 hours of quality sleep to allow the body to repair overnight & Proper Daily Hydration is Key!

Get the body ready for a Fast and opening the lymphatic drainage systems.
The lymphatic system is the body's drainage system, responsible for removing toxins. Before diving into a full cleanse, it's essential to stimulate lymphatic flow so your body can efficiently eliminate waste. Opening up the lymphatic system properly before a detox is key for effective drainage and reducing the risk of detox symptoms like headaches, fatigue, or skin eruptions. The lymphatic system doesn’t have a pump like the heart, so it relies on movement, stimulation, and certain techniques to get flowing.
Step 3: Fast
prepping your body with the right kind of fast before a detox makes a huge difference. It can reduce detox symptoms, improve toxin elimination, and wake up sluggish systems like digestion and lymph flow.
Why Fast Before a Detox?
- Clears digestive backlog
- Switches body to cleansing mode (autophagy)
- Frees up energy for deep tissue detox
- Prepares liver, kidneys, and lymph to handle the toxin release
Fast Day
A 24-hour fast is necessary to allow the digestive system to reset and for toxins to begin releasing from deep tissues. This process helps cleanse the gut, boost metabolic function, and improve nutrient absorption for the days ahead.
- Begin the fast at 5 AM and end at 5 AM the next day.
Proper Hydration:
- The lymph system is mostly water, so proper hydration keeps it fluid.
- Add a pinch of sea salt, cucumber, chlorophyll drops, or squeeze of lemon to your water for electrolytes and to help absorption.
Adding Fiber:
- Add Chis seeds, flaxseeds, psyllium husk for gentle fiber sweep.
What is Deep Diaphragmatic Breathing?
Deep belly breathing acts as a natural pump for lymph.
How to:
- Inhale through your nose for 4 seconds
- Hold for 2 seconds
- Exhale slowly through your mouth for 6–8 seconds
- Repeat for 5–10 minutes, 2–3 times daily
What is Lymphatic Drainage Massage?
Always start with the neck (specifically, the terminus area near the collarbone) before working your way down. This opens the drainage "exit" points.
- Gently massage or tap these areas:
- Neck (just above collarbone)
- Under jaw
- Behind ears
- Then move to armpits, chest, abdomen, and groin
- You can use your hands or a soft brush
What is Dry Brushing?
- Use a natural bristle brush, brushing in upward strokes towards heart
- Beat done before a shower, starting from the feet and hands inward

Sauna
Deep Detox & Lymph Drainage
Both infrared saunas and traditional saunas work, but in slightly different ways:
Infrared Sauna (deep tissue, great for detox)
- Penetrates skin more deeply → increases cellular detox + blood flow
- Use for 20–45 minutes
- Ideal temperature: 120–140°F
Traditional Sauna (high heat, promotes heavy sweating)
- Best used for 10–20 minutes at a time
- Ideal temperature: 160–180°F
During & After the Sauna:
Drink warm water with electrolytes (sea salt, lemon, coconut water)
Wipe sweat with a towel to keep toxins off the skin
Do cold rinse or shower after to stimulate lymph return (contrast therapy!)
Lay down with feet elevated post-sauna for 5–10 mins if possible

A more personalized approach is to drink half your body weight (lbs.) in ounces of water per day.
